Merry Christmas to Mom and Dad!!!

I was sooooooooooooooo happy when Kyle contacted me about doing pictures of him and his sister as a surprise for his parents for Christmas!  I mean, how thoughtful of a gift is that?  What parents don't LOVE pictures of their kids???  I can't even remember the last nice picture that me and my siblings had!!!  I had met Krystin before, but it had been a LONG time, so I was excited to spend the morning with her and get to know her a little better!  We shared a lot of laughs (even though is was pretty darn cold that morning) and just had a nice time strolling around downtown!  I was really happy with the pictures we got and I know that mom and dad had to have been so excited (and surprised) when they opened their gifts on Christmas morn!!!  Thanks a lot Kyle and Krystin for having me capture some special memories for you and your family!!!

The Year is Coming to An End!!!

Hard to believe that 2011 is almost over and that a New Year is about to begin!!  I can only hope that 2012 is a great as 2011 as been!  I welcomed the birth of my 2nd daughter, Maycee Grace, and started my photography business in August!  What a whirl wind of a year, but BOY HAS IT BEEN GREAT!!!  THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to each and every one of you that has helped make it such a remarkable year!!!!  I look forward to working with you all again in the near future, and I anxiously anticipate all the new relationships that will develop this year!  You all are AWESOME and have sent many great people my way!  Keep them coming because I love and appreciate every opportunity I get to capture those memories for ya all!!!

That being said, I am taking a little down time in January to spend some extra time with my family and to get the business side of my "biz" in order.  My office is about to overtake me, and there are classes that I will be taking in January to help me expand my products and quality.  Only the best for you all!!!  Please continue to inquire about dates that you might be wondering about for the New Year - February is already filling fast, and I anticipate that Spring, Summer, and Fall will be busy, busy months again!!!  Keep checking back for updates here and on Facebook because I will keep you all updated on what's going on at Sarah Werner Photography!!!

Here's a little taste of something new that you will be seeing:

May your New Year Be Merry and Bright!!

Sarah

Merry Christmas to You ALL!!!

What a great year it has been!!  I have been sooo blessed to have been supported sooo very much throughout the year with my photography!!  I have sooo many great friends, such great family, and I've really enjoyed getting to know each and everyone new that I've met along the way!!!  You all are sooo very awesome, and I can't wait to meet with you all again in the future!  I finally got a moment to take some Christmas pictures of the girls in their Christmas dresses and will share more when I have time to process them!  hahaha!  Maycee was a little ham - as usual - and Rayna is starting to like the camera again (FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)  I just love these little girls - they are the reason I am constantly pushing myself and pursuing my dream!!!  Merry Christmas to you all and Best Wishes for a FANTASTIC NEW YEAR!!!!

The Gallina Family (and the future Mrs. Gallina)!!!

Leisha and Jimmy have had a big year!!!  They FINALLY got engaged on a trip they took for Leisha's 30th birthday!  What a BEAUTIFUL ring she got, and such a special, special way to remember your 30th birthday!!!  Leisha asked if I could come over for some Christmas pictures in front of their tree.  Their tree was absolutely gorgeous!!  I was sooo happy with the way their card turned out and so were they!  Even little Bentley cooperated!!!  Thank you all for having me come over for some pictures!!  I SOOO SOOO enjoyed it!!! :)

Avalyn is Turning 4!!!

Avalyn is turning 4 years old this month!  PHEWIE!  Hard to believe that 4 years have gone by!  I remember when Toni (Ava's mom) came to our wedding, just barely prego and here we are now...4 years later and a new addition to the family (little Andi)!!!  I just LOVED our session together!  Ava is soooo animated and it's just so fun to watch her!  We got some great pictures (and we even had a little fun and decorated a tree out in the backyard!!!)  I think her Santa hat ones are especially cute and fun!  Thank Toni and Dave for bringing Miss Ava to see me for such special pictures!!!!

Mr B Turns ONE!!!!!!!!!

Mr. Brady turned one in November!!!  I can hardly believe how the year has flown by!!!!  It's just crazy!!!  This was Brady and I's 3rd time together and he was ALL SMILES!!!  Being in his own environment definitely helped I think!  And little did I know that mom had such a pretty place, right in her own backyard!  I told her from now on - her house = location for all of his pictures!  And that's the funny people - most people never think about just doing pictures right in their own backyard, but I'm telling you - the comfort this can bring results in some GREAT pictures!  Thank you all for having me take some pictures for such a SPECIAL birthday!  I had fun with you all - as I ALWAYS do!!! :)

Myles - McCutcheon Class of 2012!!!!

I work with Myles's mom and was sooo excited when she asked if I was available to take Myles's senior pictures!  I have done 2 senior girl sessions, but had yet to do a boy senior session, so I was so thrilled at the chance!  Rhonda warned me beforehand - "we're not really picture people", and I couldn't help but laugh when Myles told me the exact same thing during our session (without prompting...hahaha)!  Myles was such a good sport though - especially since I'm certain that boys do not anticipate senior pictures NEARLY as much as girls do!  hahaha!  I was really pleased with how his pictures turned out, and Mom and Myles were too (which is the most important part)!!!  I made picture lovers out of them after all!  hahaha!  Thanks SOOOO very much for having me take pictures for such a special time!  Best of luck to Myles!!!! :)

The Gaskin Family - An Evening Downtown

I had talked to Natalie a couple months before our session, and she was so excited to get some family pictures of her and her kids!  I was so thrilled to meet her kids - have I mentioned before that I just LOVE families and meeting new people along the way?  The kids were awesome - I loved how different they were!  Mr A loves skating but rarely gets time these days because of other commitments, and Ms J is a country girl!!!  I <3 country, so I'm a fan of anyone loving country too! hahaha!  We had a blast and I think that we got some great shots, despite the cold weather (which they brought some CUTE coats along for), and the fact that it got dark on us really quick!  I had a blast with you all - can't wait to get together again!!!
