WOWZAS!!!!!!!!!!!  The day has FINALLY come that I have my very own website (EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!) What a labor.of.love!  When I set out to make this website at the beginning on January I thought - there is just no way I'm going to be able to figure all this out!  I am happy to report that I am now FULL of knowledge about domain names, A records, custom pages, layouts, groupings, gallerys, access codes, PHEWIE...exhausting right?  haha!  But truthfully - it just makes me feel so darn official, and I just love having everything in one place - I could just do a happy dance!!!  You all have been SOOOOOOOOOOOO incredibly awesome already about telling your friends and family about me and for that - I am so eternally thankful!  I am having the time of my life doing what I love!!!

Tutin Family + 1 :)

I was SOOOOOOO thrilled when Kelly contacted me all the way back in September about doing some maternity pictures for her and her family!  I have to admit, I'd never done a maternity shoot, so i was eager for the practice!  In September - January seemed like FOREVER away - and as with anything else it got here SO QUICK!!!  This was the first time I'd ever gotten a chance to formally meet her little boy Carter, too!  What a TREAT!  He is such a sweet little boy and so animated!  I just had a ball with them all!!!  I was really pleased with how all their pictures came out and LOVE LOVE LOVE all the texture and colors that came right from her mother's home (which I'm dying to have because it has AWESOME lighting...hahaha)!!!  I just want to say THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for having me capture these memories for you!!  I feel so privleged that I got to be part of your journey to mother x 2!!! 

Kaden is Turning 4!!!!

 

I feel so fortunate to have known Kaden since the day he was born!!!  I remember that day like it was yesterday when his momma didn't show up for work (right around his due date) and I was SOOOooo excited because I had a feeling that meant Kaden was on his way!!!  Low and behold I was right - and not too long after I messaged her, Mr. Kaden was here!!!  I have been friends with Kaden's parents gosh FOREVER it seems, and I'm so glad that our kids are all around the same age and get to grow up together (and little do Kaden and Rayna know they are actually already set-up to be married!!  haha)! I can't wait for the wedding!  hahaha!  And here we are - already 4 years later - I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!!!  Pictures downtown with Kaden were SOOOO much fun (as you can see...) and I was so happy with the way they turned out!  I hope that they are memories that his family will cherish for a lifetime!!!  Thanks a lot for having me capture such special memories for you all and HAPPY 4th BIRTHDAY KADEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The 2012 Favorite Photo Contest!!!!

So I had the toughest time even thinking of a name for our contest because I wanted it to be 2011 photos from past clients, but I wanted it to celebrate the new year (hence where 2012 came in)!  I had no idea it would end up having such great participation, and I just LOVED checking each day to see who was leading (probably as much as you all did!)  You're probably thinking - GET ON WITH THE PRIZES ALREADY, huh???  hahahaha!  Ok.....ok.....hahahaha!

First place:  Jordan (a.k.a BLUE EYES!!!) 

with 90 votes!!!!

And I decided that because there was such great participation to make my "prize" an "and" prize.  So, instead of them having to choose - 1/2 off a session OR free prints - I decided they should get 1/2 off a session AND an 11x14 and 5x7!!!!!  Congratulations Hanthorn Family!!!

Now for the twist - 2nd place went to Kaity Huffer and Kyle Heide

with 65 votes!!!!

And I decided - oh they should get a prize too for all their hard work!  hahahaha!  So, Kaity and Kyle - you win a free 11x14, 5x7 and 1 set of 8 wallets of your favorite engagement picture from the contest!

Truthfully, I was so completely overwhelmed with EVERYONE'S participation and support!!!  YOU ALL ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday evening I contacted the remaining 9 participants and asked that they pick a number between 1 and 9, and it was based on their "order of votes" as to who got to choose first, second, third, and so on!  So....here are THEIR prices which I made them wait in suspense for ALL DAY LONG :)!!

Merry Christmas to Mom and Dad!!!

I was sooooooooooooooo happy when Kyle contacted me about doing pictures of him and his sister as a surprise for his parents for Christmas!  I mean, how thoughtful of a gift is that?  What parents don't LOVE pictures of their kids???  I can't even remember the last nice picture that me and my siblings had!!!  I had met Krystin before, but it had been a LONG time, so I was excited to spend the morning with her and get to know her a little better!  We shared a lot of laughs (even though is was pretty darn cold that morning) and just had a nice time strolling around downtown!  I was really happy with the pictures we got and I know that mom and dad had to have been so excited (and surprised) when they opened their gifts on Christmas morn!!!  Thanks a lot Kyle and Krystin for having me capture some special memories for you and your family!!!

The Year is Coming to An End!!!

Hard to believe that 2011 is almost over and that a New Year is about to begin!!  I can only hope that 2012 is a great as 2011 as been!  I welcomed the birth of my 2nd daughter, Maycee Grace, and started my photography business in August!  What a whirl wind of a year, but BOY HAS IT BEEN GREAT!!!  THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to each and every one of you that has helped make it such a remarkable year!!!!  I look forward to working with you all again in the near future, and I anxiously anticipate all the new relationships that will develop this year!  You all are AWESOME and have sent many great people my way!  Keep them coming because I love and appreciate every opportunity I get to capture those memories for ya all!!! 

That being said, I am taking a little down time in January to spend some extra time with my family and to get the business side of my "biz" in order.  My office is about to overtake me, and there are classes that I will be taking in January to help me expand my products and quality.  Only the best for you all!!!  Please continue to inquire about dates that you might be wondering about for the New Year - February is already filling fast, and I anticipate that Spring, Summer, and Fall will be busy, busy months again!!!  Keep checking back for updates here and on Facebook because I will keep you all updated on what's going on at Sarah Werner Photography!!!

Merry Christmas to You ALL!!!

What a great year it has been!!  I have been sooo blessed to have been supported sooo very much throughout the year with my photography!!  I have sooo many great friends, such great family, and I've really enjoyed getting to know each and everyone new that I've met along the way!!!  You all are sooo very awesome, and I can't wait to meet with you all again in the future!  I finally got a moment to take some Christmas pictures of the girls in their Christmas dresses and will share more when I have time to process them!  hahaha!  Maycee was a little ham - as usual - and Rayna is starting to like the camera again (FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)  I just love these little girls - they are the reason I am constantly pushing myself and pursuing my dream!!!  Merry Christmas to you all and Best Wishes for a FANTASTIC NEW YEAR!!!!
